Roberto Salvador Avelais-Torres
On September 1, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol arrested Mexican national Roberto Salvador Alvelais-Torres, 28. He is accused of hitting and killing Beverly Duffield, 74, with his SUV, while she was riding her bicycle, and then fleeing the scene. An eyewitness was able to describe the 2002 Chevrolet Suburban which Alvelais-Torres was driving, which led to his arrest. Alvelais-Torres has been charged with negligent homicide, leaving the scene, driving with no license and failing to have insurance. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has also placed a detainer on him. Though an illegal alien, Alvelais-Torres has a history of arrests in Tulsa County on multiple charges, including DUI and hit-and-run. Of course, Tulsa has long had a ‘sanctuary’ policy in place for illegal aliens. In 2008, the Tulsa City Council changed their policy, and now allow police to investigate the immigration status of arrestees, but only when the suspect is charged with a felony. So, until an illegal alien commits a felony, as in this case, resulting in the death of an innocent woman, the Tulsa police are still not allowed to report the criminal alien to federal authorities. Fox News recently uncovered a 577 page report detailing crimes committed by suspected illegal aliens in Tulsa County over the last two years. Since June, 2007 6,146 suspected illegal aliens have been arrested in the county.. The most common offenses among illegal aliens in Tulsa County are DUI, driving without a license, public intoxication, and drug possession. The vast majority of these criminal aliens were simply released back into the community after serving their sentences either in the county jail or state prison. Mrs. Duffield was a well-known clinical psychologist. Executive director of the Tulsa Mental Health Association, Michael Brose said: “Beverly has been an incredible human being and professional clinician in this community for many, many years, and has served many families and individuals.” “It is an incredible loss to the community, and I know, the entire mental health community.” Duffield leaves behind a husband and a daughter. *Reporter’s note: Sadly, if the Tulsa City Council had not decided to simply ignore the criminal alien problem which exists in an around their city, and report all illegal aliens passing through their criminal justice system, Beverly Duffield would still be alive. She would be alive to help the patients to whom she was so dedicated, and her family would still be enjoying her presence, rather than grieving her loss. ? ?

If they can't get us in the womb, the Left will advance any policy designed to kill us later in life. And then Obama's death panels will get us when we're vulnerable once again.
My thoughts go out to the Duffield family, and all those families who have had their lives ruined by our gov't's open-border policies.

America's most forgotten are the innocent people and their families who have been victimized by illegal aliens as a result of the refusal of our elected officials to enforce United States immigration law and to secure our borders. Americans remain unprotected from this unwanted invasion of unidentified people from across the world. No region of the country has been spared.
Until the federal government actually defends our border with Mexico and begins mass deportations of all illegal aliens within this country, our men, women and children will continue to be victimized by these foreign invaders. It is an abomination that our political leaders have sold-out the American people in the name of cheap labor and potential votes, with the price being the lives of our citizens.
Every public official who enables this invasion from south of the border is just as guilty as those who are actually charged with the crimes. Neither has any respect for our laws, nor for our citizens. VOTE Em OUT

Sadly, she joins the 24 or so Americans who ar killed or murdered by illegal aliens every 24 hours. Why isn't the MSM reporting on the true "cost" of the Invasion? American lives lost.
As long as illegal immigration is so profitable to so many, the invasion will continue. We must keep phoning, faxing and emailing our representatives until they send every last illegal alien home. No matter what Washington thinks, they would leave if three simple things were enacted. 1. Demand E-verify for ALL businesses 2. Stop the birthright citizenship insanity 3. Stop all benefits. They would leave the same way they got here. We would suddenly save three and a half billion a year, the crime rate would drop drastically and we would have our country back for legal, loyal, taxpaying Americans who would be once more employed.

The main job of the federal government is to protect its citizens and secure the borders. We are being invaded by millions of foreign nationals. This is an act of war. Our nation is being bankrupted and our citizens victimized by these foreign nationals. Since 9/11/01, more than 50,000 Americans have been killed or murdered by illegal aliens. Our worthless government is complacent in this invasion. There are more than 30,000 lobbyist in this country influencing our government with campaign contributions, bribes, jobs, trips, perks, gifts and even sex. Is it any wonder our elected officials don't represent the American people? There are traitors in our government that don't give a damn about this country or the American people. Americans are suffering and our government is more concerned about foreigners than its own citizens. Unless the people take back this country from the criminals currently in power, we could see another American revolution in our lifetime. God bless America!
