On Wednesday, police in Slidell, LA, arrested an illegal alien for slashing the throat of his 84-year-old neighbor with a razor blade. The attack left an 8-inch gash in the woman’s throat, her assailant stole about $65 in cash.
The octogenarian victim survived the attack and later identified the man who did odd jobs for her, Ricardo Tenorio-Palma, 20, as the man who tried to kill her.
Slidell Police Capt. Kevin Swann said: "It wasn't like he demanded money; he stabbed her first. He slashed her first, before he robbed her. He intended to kill her,”
Police allege that on Wednesday afternoon, Tenorio-Palma entered the woman’s home through a door she always left slightly open for her cat.
Punching and kicking, the woman fought off her attacker until the loss of blood and fatigue set in. Left bleeding on the floor, the woman then activated her medical alert necklace.
"She's very tough," Slidell Police Chief Freddy Drennan told reporters. "She's cooperated with us to the fullest extent she could."
Tenorio-Palma has been living in Slidell for at least nine months. He was living just across the street from his alleged victim with his brother and three other unidentified men.
The victim recently paid the Mexican national to string-up Christmas lights on her house, and in the past, had given him furniture and other household items.
Chief Drennan said that soon after being arrested, Tenorio-Palma "admitted readily” to the attack and robbery.
Tenorio-Palma sits in St. Tammany Jail, and has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and armed robbery. If convicted, he faces a possible sentence of up to 99 years in prison.

There are high statistics of sex crimes by illegal aliens. The freqency of news articles suggest there is also a high incidence of attacks on defenseless elderly by the same. The is not the first story of a kindly elderly woman being attacked by an illegal alien neighbor. Just unusual that she survived, and that she was not victim of a sexual assault as well.
Hopefully, more attention will be brought to this issue.
While no one deserves to have their throat slashed, I have to wonder why these so-called compassionate Americans who hire these illegal aliens do not realize: a) they are breaking our laws; and, b)have they not heard of the thousands of cases very similar to this woman's where an illegal alien has harmed and murdered an American who hired them?
Unfortunately, those we most entrust to uphold and enforce our laws (elected/appointed officials)are the very same who are most guilty of violating our laws by aiding and abetting the very same illegal aliens who harm/murder the citizens they have sworn to protect. The blood of any American harmed by an illegal alien in on the hands of those who refuse to perform their job, uphold our laws, and honor their oath of office.
Actually there are no statistics on crimes committed by illegal aliens as the nationality or legal residence of a perpetrator is not part of the data collection elements in crime reporting. Kathleen, your points are so relevant to the whole illegal immigration issue. Sure, most illegal aliens are probably just trying to make some money by working. But how can the elderly who violate the law by hiring them in the first place know this? It amazes me when I see retirees and other elderly people hiring these people to do things and yet they don't know the slightest thing about their background.
A neighbor of mine hired a group of illegal aliens, and the apparent Boss of the crew, was a fat Mexican that was arrogant and kept bothering me about a tree I didn't need trimmed. I noticed that one of the illegal aliens had tatoos all over his arms and just sat on the driveway of the old peoples house they were working on, smoking a cigarette. This guy did absolutely no work and I wondered why he was even there. Then it dawned on me. He was probably one of the MS-13 gang members, waiting for the gangs cut of the money when the job was over. Americans are crazy allowing this.
The most important thing is that citizens wake up before they are killed, or the country is lost. With MSM covering these crimes up, most people just don't know. Show websites like this to others.
How else do you think these beautiful towns and cities get overrun and taken over by these cowardly cucarachas????...They kill enough of our old folks and incite them with fear, causing them to sell their properties to realtors, who, in turn, sell that home to the same thugs who caused it's being sold in the first place!!!
