Pastor Carol Daniels
On August 23, Pastor Carol Daniels, 61, was found dead in the Christ Holy Sanctified Church in Anadarko, Oklahoma. She had multiple deep cuts and stab wounds, with her autopsy report stating that she had been nearly decapitated. In addition to the "multiple sharp-force injuries," listed in the autopsy report, Daniels’ body was nude, and her clothes were taken from the scene. Her hair had been burned, and in a very sick statement from the killer, a spokeswoman for the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation told reporters confirmed that the pastor’s body had been “staged” in a crucifix position. Many of the wounds actually occurred post-mortem. Daniels’ body was found behind the church’s altar. While murders are unfortunately nothing new in this increasingly violent country, this one even has hardened police detectives and prosecutors alike rattled. District Attorney Bret Burns told the Associated Press: "I've prosecuted over 50 murders, [and] this is the most horrific crime scene I've ever witnessed.” While police have stated that they do not believe Daniels‘ murder is linked to any satanic cult activity, they also admit that they have no leads in the case. Capt. Dwaine Miller of the Anadarko Police Department told NewsOK.com: "We have no suspects. We have no idea who did this." In further evidence of their desperation for clues, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation just increased their own reward being offered in this case to $15,000. The OSBI has also requested the assistance of an FBI profiler to help solve this case. Though she lived in Oklahoma City, Daniels would make the 100 mile round trip to the tiny town of Anadarko every Sunday, to offer a sermon, and lend an ear to folks in the mostly poor town of 6,600. The pastor’s son, Alvin Daniels told CNN Headline News’ Nancy Grace that his mother was "always joking with us and always taking care of us, even giving her last dollar, even if she didn't have it." More than 1,000 people attended her funeral on Monday. On Monday, I spoke with Sgt. Wardlow, public information officer for the Oklahoma City Police Department, who told me that she was not aware any activity related to satanic cults in the area. However, I did discover that there is a waiting list on the networking website MeetUp, for an “Oklahoma City Satanism” Meetup Group. The list currently shows 25 members. One member of the group known as Michel, posted the following message: “ Satanists believe they are their own god. I am a god. I am calling you forth to walk in that same reality. You are a god. If you can't say that without reservation, you don't understand. So seek understanding. It's available. The world is yours. ” Anyone with any information on the murder of Pastor Carol Daniels is asked to call the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-522-8017. Again, there is a $15,000 reward offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for her murder. ? ? ? ? ?

"Satanism" is often a cover for other activities, Nazi, sophisticated pedophilia, etc. It disables the logic and evokes such stark terror as to impede investigations, or doubly ridicule the victim. The literature is circular, quoting each other. But there is a hideous explosion of do-in-yourself occult groups. Such people invite the demonic to take over instead of Christ, and then get way more than they ever imagined was possible.
Why exactly do you think this is the work of a Satanic cult? All of the evidence you offer in this article seems to suggest the opposite. The police have no suspects and do not find evidence of Satanism. So why blame it on Satanists?
As a Theistic Satanist (someone who believes Satan is a real diety and worships him as such) living in Oklahoma, I can tell you that, if this is somehow related to so-called "Satanic" activity, it has nothing to do with real Satanism.
As a Satanist, I abhor the atrocities man commits against each other as much as anyone else. Human killing is no more acceptable in Satanism than it is in modern society. Indeed, someone might have been "playing Satanist" when they killed this woman, but they are not true followers of the master.

It's always easy to use the scapegoat of it being Satanism, isn't it? What if you find out it was one of her own congregation? How about a homeless person or a guy who works at Walmart and is atheist? Could it be a Satanist? Sure, but you've got no evidence of that. So, why would you think it is? Just because the victim was a Christian pastor??
As both an Examiner for Alternative Religions and a representative for The Church of Satan I'd like to clarify the official Satanic position regarding the tragic death of Pastor Daniels.
There is not a single aspect of this brutal crime that supports Satanism as a cause. There is no ritual, no theology, no dogma, no need for such an abhorrent and grotesque act in a religion that has no literal belief in Satan (or any other deity for that matter.) With Satan being seen as a metaphor for the self there is never a need for sacrifice.
Additionally, the Church of Satan stands proud as one of the few legal churches in the USA that terminates the membership of those found breaking the law. We support law and order. This sort of crime is beyond unacceptable, it is unforgivable!
Sadly there are churches that claim Satanists practice sacrifice. Then misinformed criminals commit crimes that, they believe, appear Satanic. These sorts of things would cease with proper religious educa

One last thing regarding "Michael" and his wanna-be Satanic meet-up group. Satanism is about responsibility, it confirms that there is no God to thank nor a devil to blame for the individual's choices and situations. Therefore, to the individual , they are their own God. In no way does Satanism espouse that one individual is a god to any other individual.

Methinks Mr. Gibson needs to read more. The likelihood that this horrific murder has any connection to any occult group is so slim as to be hardly worth mentioning. Is the absence of evidence, Mr. Gibson, so much proof of the involvement of Satanists? Or do you just naturally assume that the murder of a Xian priestess is the work of the Devil? I have to agree with Michel when he says, "Seek understanding," since it's apparent that you don't understand that about which you speak.

The fact that the woman was African American might lead me to think a Racist, and not a Satanist, did this horrible act. Racism is the true evil, not the practice of Satanism. I believe Oklahoma has light years to travel through, before it respects other forms of belief or thought. Ask a Native American what this state and country views as "Evil", if u can find one left to converse with.

Question: How can you tell if a Satanist is lying?
Answer: Every answer they give you is a lie because they worship satan, the father of all lies. It is even written in their filthy satanic bible (that they should lie whenever it is convienent for them). Also, the phrase "satanic panic" was coined by the same people who pushed the false memory syndrome.
