A little before 11:00 p.m. on July 4. a 22-year-old man was walking with some friends in the Whitcomb Square area of Sterling Park when he was approached by Jose E. Salmeron-Zelayandai, 20, and Carlos Hernandez-Trochez, 20. One of the men grabbed him from behind and both attacked him. They stabbed the victim repeatedly, then fled the scene. Witnesses were able to give a good description of the assailants to police and both Salmeron-Zelayandai and Hernandez-Trochez were apprehended shortly after the attack. The victim is recovering from his wounds. Loudoun County Sheriff's Office spokesman Kraig Troxell said that both Salmeron-Zelayandai and Hernandez-Trochez had been charged with malicious wounding and gang participation. They are being held without bond and federal immigration detainers have been filed against them. Troxell declined to name the gang with which the men are affiliated. Of course, Northern Virginia has been inundated with illegal aliens in recent years, and the notoriously violent Salvadoran gang known as MS-13 has emerged as the area’s most infamous gang. The FBI's National Gang Task Force Director Robert Clifford, said: "The migrant moves and the gang follows. If you follow the construction trade, that is where a lot of these immigrants go." MS-13 set up shop in Northern Virginia during the 1990s, lured by the region's fast-growing Salvadoran population, later expanding into the Maryland suburbs of Langley Park and Gaithersburg. During 2004-2005, there were two machete attacks in the Northern Virginia area. An Alexandria teenager lost four fingers during a savage encounter with MS-13 members, while a Fairfax man also became a victim of an MS-13 machete attack. Both incidents are believed to have been initiation acts. In 2005, two MS-13 members were convicted in an Alexandria, Va. United States District Court for killing a 17-year-old pregnant girl. A rope was placed around the neck of Brenda Paz, she was then stabbed repeatedly. Her body was then left along the muddy banks of the Shenandoah River. The murder was retribution for the girl´s cooperation with a federal investigation into the gang´s activities.

I grew up in Loudoun County. As a teenager, it was a pretty boring place to be; I couldn't wait to leave. Now that I have a young daughter, I would like her to grow up in a similar place (as it was when I was growing up...not as it is now).

We moved to Loudoun from Fairfax to escape the gangs, crime and illegal aliens and now Loudoun is as bad as Fairfax.
What this country needs is another Elliot Ness and his T-Men. They need SWAT teams to go armed into the lairs of these animals, round them up and put them to doing hard time. What happend to the old rock pile that prisoners used to work on all day? Now, they get to lounge around, watch TV and used their criminal minds to plot their actions when they are released. Have them do hard labor 12 hours a day. They would be too tired to get into anymore trouble. Look at their pictures...these are subhumans and not fit to live in a rational society.
You can take one case and try and generalize across an entire population. However, that doesn't explain why crime has been DECLINING while immigration has been INCREASING at record rates.
US immigrants (legal and otherwise) are increasing crime they claim. Yet, as US immigration has reached all time highs - crime has reached levels not seen since the 1960s - a decade of extremely low US immigration.

One of the most pervasive misperceptions about immigrants is that they are more likely to commit predatory crimes than are the native-born. Popular movies, television series, and a sensationalizing news media propagate the enduring image of immigrant communities permeated by crime and violence. But this widespread belief is simply wrong.

I'm amazed you couldn't figure this out for yourself. The reason that crime rates have been dropping is because most states have imposed tougher sentencing laws (3 strikes for example) which means that people convicted of felonies are serving longer prison sentences. The longer that a criminal is behind bars, the fewer crimes he'll be committing in his lifetime. Thus, the crime rates drop across the board in most categories.
By the way, all illegal aliens who have worked, or are working in this country have committed one or more of the following crimes: ID theft, document fraud, Social Security fraud, "I-9 Form" employment fraud, income tax evasion, and conspiracy to violate immigration laws. Many illegal aliens also commit welfare fraud and food stamp fraud by using fake IDs.

Most Mexican illegal aliens, when caught, are simply sent back across the border and aren't prosecuted for violating our laws. That's why they're less likely to be in a "correctional setting".

LoCo has Sheriff Simpson who is clueless about MS-13 behavior. At a community meeting someone asked him how these gang members make a living. He shrugged and said through criminal activities. I was surprised that he didn't know that many of these gang members are the day laborers that hang out in front of 7-11s looking for work! In CA, it has been noted that MS-13 gang activity increases after 5 p.m. Sheriff Simpson needs to be voted out. Voters tried to do that when he was denied the republican party nomination as a candidate this past election. Instead of getting the message and moving on, he ran as an independent and split the vote. We need a sheriff that is really on top of things here!

When the cops aren't at the donut shop, all they do is harass tired citizens with tickets, while they're driving home from work, here in Southern California. Illegal aliens they don't bother with.

If we do not seek and obtain something along a National Ballot Initiative, this sort of thing will continue forever. Congress wants to tear the fence along the border down, and then retreat to a point behind their castle moats and fences while our society is trashed.
