Less than a month after turning the initial episode of Joe Buck's new live cable show into a train wreck, Howard Stern sidekick Artie Lange was charged with DWI following a fender bender at the Jersey Shore.
Police said Lange, 41, was driving a leased 2009 Nissan Sentra around 1:30 p.m. yesterday when it rear-ended a car -- with two 18-year-old men inside -- that had stopped to make a turn. No injuries were reported.

Toms River police took Lange to headquarters and released him with a summons a few hours later, pending a July 16 Municipal Court date.
Lange, who has homes in Hoboken and Roseland, is charged with driving under the influence and careless driving.
Police said Lange was a "complete gentleman" and "very cooperative" -- which is ironic considering how he chewed up Buck. Most people saw Lange go off on the live cable broadcast from midtown Manhattan, but what upset HBO executives most was a rant that followed during the online-only overtime portion of the show afterwards (To see it, click here: Lange berates Buck).
HBO Sports President Ross Greenburg recently said he regrets not cutting Lange's microphone. Keep reading....

Artie high on drugs rear ended two hairless teenage boys.
In Artie's Sentra they found a 12 pack of ZIMA and a Top Gun DVD.
Artie deserves it. I needed him and he blew me off. Karma baby.
Howard took the pack off long ago. If it wasn't for the likes of Sal and Richard nothing on that show would be worth lisetening to. Vacations, Fridays off, 16 hours a week and he's so over worked, he's so tired. "Anything else Robin?" is the constant refrain. He doesn't want to be there and it shows. He's cashed out and only the sycophants remain loyal as he takes money out of their pockets. Once the contract is up he's off to Long Island with his hot wife, who will dump him when he gets old and grumpy, and the bulldog. Sad ending to a once brilliant talent. Sound familiar? Artie is done. He and he alone wrecked a great gig. He modeled himself after Belushi, Farley and others he's nearing the end just like they did.
I do not see how it is ironic that Artie was a gentleman just because of an appearance on Joe Buck..The guys has some screwed up substance issues but is more down to earth than most "celebrities".. I live in Toms River and the guy is more than friendly with everyone
My Artie is a innocent! wassamatta for you!
