The woman who was snatched from a bus stop as an 11-year-old child turned up at a California police station after 18 mysterious years, and a convicted sex offender and his wife were arrested in the kidnapping. Authorities held a press conference on Thursday regarding Jaycee Lee Dugard, the 11-year-old girl who was kidnapped in 1991, and miraculously walked into a police station on Wednesday.
Law enforcement believe Jaycee was being held for 18 years in a secret backyard by Phillip Garrido, a convicted sex offender who was on parole at the time Jaycee was abducted.

This is a very sad case, and I seriously doubt that Jaycee as well as her children will fully recover from this sexual enslavement that went on for years. Neighbors were aware that something was going on but chose to remain silent. When citizens choose silence over involvement, they offer cruel,heinous perpetrators a safe haven for evil. Fortunately this perpetrator delved in evil for so long that he literally drove himself nuts and finally got caught by an alert campus policeman. While for years the liberal California government paid a parole officer who collected a paycheck every week at the expense of Jaycee and her children.
Oh yeah, it's all because the government is liberal, even though most religious nutjobs (like perhaps yourself) are usually "conservative".
Let's never miss the chance to blame liberals for everything.

Unfortunatly we cannot execute this cruel man because we don't want to violate his civil rights. He will get several life terms and be released in time to do it again before he dies. California cannot afford to house this guy for rest of his life....Pine box would be much cheaper
In my opinion, he and his wife deserve to be executed.
not only did he rape and molest jaycee i'am sure he has raped and molested his two children he had with her the courts will give the wife a break if she'll testify against her husband she'll get a break of some kind maybe 24 months, rapist and pedophiles alot of time get a slap on the wrist because our gouverment officials many of them are pedophiles themselves show sensitivity to the attackers
