Missing Utah mom Susan Powell’s father, Chuck Cox, and her best friend, Kiirsi Hellewell, appeared on Saturday’s ‘Today Show’ regarding a media blitz and ribbon campaign organized to help in the search for Susan.
The young mother was reported missing from her home on Dec. 7. Her husband, Josh Powell, told authorities he had taken his two young sons on a camping trip in sub-zero temperatures at around midnight on Dec. 6. He claimed they slept in the family van and when they returned home the next day, Susan, 28, was nowhere to be found.
The ribbon campaign will be held in conjunction with the “social media blitz” on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter, which will begin on Monday.
