Steve McNair and Sahel Kazemi
On Saturday, former NFL quarterback, Steve McNair, 36, and a woman were found shot to death in McNair's Nashville, Tenn. condo.
The woman has been identified as Sahel Kazemi, 20. Her ex-boyfriend, Keith Norfleet said she and McNair had been seeing each other for several months.
Wayne Neely, a friend of McNair’s who also rents a condo with him, arrived on Saturday to find the bodies inside.
Neighbors at the Cherry Creek apartment complex in Hermitage said they often saw McNair visiting Kazemi at her apartment. At times, she would arrive home in a limousine. She told neighbors her new black vehicle was a gift from her boyfriend.
The black vehicle was the Cadillac Escalade she was stopped in on Thursday for driving under the influence.
According to the Hattiesburg American, Norfleet said McNair was in the SUV with Kazemi, which was not in the police affidavit, but was confirmed by law enforcement on Saturday. Bail bondsman told the American that McNair bailed Kazemi out of jail later that night.
Norfleet said he and Kazemi had been dating for four years and broke up about five months ago. Norfleet claims Kazemi told him she was dating McNair and met him while working as a waitress at Dave & Busters. He said he was worried about her dating a married man.
“She is the sweetest girl, and she did not deserve this. He was making her believe they were going to be together, and everything would be perfect,” Norfleet said.
McNair is survived by his four sons, Junior, Steve, Tyler, and Trenton, and his wife Mechelle.

The conduct of men, married and single, that continues to be disgraceful, as in the recent case of Steve McNair, must be and will be death with by the clergy. And I shall now take up this cross and bear it, with no excuses allowed. But the speeches, sermons and lectures must certainly include women and the loose, Jezebel lifestyle of multitudes of women that are doing everything under the sun, and not loudly verbally attacked for the degraded lives that so many, such as Sahel Kezemi and tons of others are practicing. Amen! Amen! Amen! One day men and women will realize that God meant one man and one woman; not having as many as you can afford...I am so tired of men and woman ruining their lives and the lives of others and for what??? Bottom line it is all selfishness on the individuals part.
I hate to say it but what starts out wrong-ends up wrong! A tragic example to married men that think that they are getting away wih something. A message to women who choose to become entangled with a married man. Girlfriend, if he cheated with you-he will cheat on you. If she will cheat with you-can she really be trusted? Food for thought. All of the ignorance of making excuses for his and her behavior-I wonder what the excuse will be when both she and he have to stand and give an account. That is what the both of them get! Think about the outcome before you allow yorself to get involved in such foolishness!
mcnair was your typical mediocre qb and husband. at the end he went to hell.
