Horrific details are being reported by BNO News about the events surrounding 8-year-old Sandra Cantu’s death.
Sunday school teacher Melissa Huckaby is charged with the girl’s abduction, rape, and murder.
A source told BNO News that Huckaby raped Sandra with a screwdriver before she died. According to the source, this information is not expected to be officially released until after Huckaby’s trial.

The source also said that Sandra’s father, Danny Cantu has said that the Clover Road Baptist Church, where Huckaby’s grandfather Lane Lawless is pastor and Huckaby was a Sunday school teacher is actually a culture with 13 members.
Cantu also claimed he had connections and the person who killed Sandra “would be taken care of.”
Sandra's father also said he did not believe that Lawless had anything to do with his daughter’s murder and that Sandra’s DNA was found on a cot located in the church.
Huckaby is scheduled to appear in court later this month.

If Sandra's father knew that it was a cult that endangered his child, why did he put her in that tragic situation?
he didn't leave these poor people alone if its true. there is a special place for melissa right next to casey in the afterlife. hint it gets very hot there.

Rick, it is interesting that the father seems to know things about Lawless, Huckaby and the Church. I think there's alot we don't know in this case, and since there's a gag order, we are getting very little detail. Many questions in this case, that's for sure.
Between the other child 'taken, drugged and returned' by Huckaby, and Sandra's father's knowledge, it does leave me outraged that this little child could have been spared this tragedy? People need to learn from this. *Always follow your gut, and speak up!
Huckaby is due in court May 22.

I read an artical about this and heard there was a guy with a red bandana and had it across his face thats probobly the same guy I saw that robbed our bank!
Terrible thats very gross rape with a screwdriver thats wrong the DNA could have been blood from Sandra.Huckaby must get the death penalty. Sandra R.I.P everyone still thinks about you
Get your information right BNO.. the father didnt say that, in fact now that the court records were released.. the truth is known and its known BNO made up information cause Sandra was not raped with a screwdriver, you ignorant and naive journalist. Danny Cantu has not even been around to interview with BNO, you naive journalist
On top of everything, Danny Cantu doesnt know anything more about that case than the public no more than Maria Chavez knows. What he knows is what is in the media and newspapers just like you and I. He has no special priveledge to the case..
