According to “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” George and Cindy Anthony will not be paid for an exclusive interview they will give Oprah in May.
A spokesperson for the show told Hal Boedeker of the Orlando Sentinel, “In terms of compensation, I can state unequivocally that no money is changing hands as part of this appearance.”
The Anthony’s are expected to discuss their granddaughter, Caylee and the investigation surrounding her death when they appear on the show.
Their daughter, Casey is charged with the first-degree murder of Caylee.
This will be the first formal joint interview the Anthony’s have given since Caylee’s remains were found in Dec.
An airdate for the episode has yet to be released.

Hal Boedeker of the Orlando Sentinel, In terms of compensation, I can state unequivocally that no money is changing hands as part of this appearance.
Okay, "money" is not being exchanged for Anthonys interview but is any other form of compensation being given to the Anthonys directly or indirectly.
I would like to know how George and Cindy are paying their bills if they are not working and how they can afford to fly around the country without any income. Something is not right here. Does anyone have the answer?
The Anthony clan has cost millions to tax payers via their claims a child was missing with additional choreographed insults to any and all investigators and then even against prosecutors.
In addition to this choreographed media frenzy the Anthony's perpetrated while creating more victims of whom they WERE accusing ....thanks to the media's gullible hosts marching to the Anthony clan's propaganda:
....the Anthony's legal defense team was filing documents with the state as to why a child was murdered (before the child's remains were found)
from Orlando Sentinel News Paper
Terence Lenamon, a Miami attorney who was once part of Anthonys team, gave prosecutors a report in November outlining why the mother should not receive the death penalty. His report cited Anthonys erratic behavior after her daughters birth, suggesting signs of emotional or mental distress. . .
He part of Anthonys team discussing her state of mind at the time of the murder for a child - at the time - was only missing as insisted by the Anthony clan and their teams
. . .which seems to make clear the legal team is informed and convinced she did murder Caylee prior to the childs remains being found.
If the team was functioning under the premise Casey Anthony is innocent any and all things at the time they filed this document when the child was "missing", they would file opposition to the death penalty based on her BEING innocent of any and all things
...instead of making excuses as to why the state should consider her state of mind at the time of a murder.
Oprah should be ashamed of herself for having the Anthony's on. What's she going to do, say 'uh, huh' and just "yes" the Anthony's and let them spin their usual tale same as Larry King did? Is she that short of ratings? For shame, Oprah.
seriously! i can't believe oparah , however you want to spell it i dont care, is going to have them on her show, seriously that is shameful i thought of her better than that she must need ratings
what the heck is Tmaximus talking about hes like on every site saying the same thing
Oprah doesn't have to pay the Anthony's directly. She can, and most probably will, make a sizable donation to the Caylee "foundation", which well could afford the Anthony's a couple of new cars, to go along with the nice new boat, among other things, all of which will be deemed the property of the "foundation", of which Mama Cindy is president, and all others are officers, giving them complete control of any properties and monies the foundation should acquire.
It's official from oprah.com: Update from an Oprah Winfrey Show spokesperson:
"Based on the Anthonys' decision to appear on other programs, we have decided not to move forward with their interview on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" at this time."
