Barack Obama
In large metropolitan areas such as Dallas and Atlanta, many young men have been targeted by law enforcement and school administrators as gang members and "thugs" because they wear baggy pants. There are even those who believe that laws should be in place that prevents the wearing of such garb.
Barack Obama, however, does not believe those wearing saggy pants should be penalized. According to an MTV interview, he took part in last week, Obama stateed:
Here is my attitude: I think people passing a law against people wearing saggy pants is a waste of time. We should be focused on creating jobs, improving our schools, health care, dealing with the war in Iraq, and anybody, any public official, that is worrying about sagging pants probably needs to spend more time focusing on real problems out there. Having said that, brothers should pull up their pants.
So, those inclined to wear their pants way below the belt can rest easy if Obama is elected president, since their fashion statement will not amount to an arrest---only an indication of a lack of fashion sense and good taste.
