Mitrice Richardson, 24, mysteriously disappeared after she left the Malibu/Lost Hills, California Sheriff’s Station at about 1 a.m. on Sept. 17. She had been arrested for not paying a restaurant tab and possessing a small amount of marijuana, and was reportedly disoriented upon her release.

On Thursday, Mitrice’s family held a press conference in front of the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department headquarters. The family representative, attorney Leo Terrell spoke, along with her mother, Latice Sutton.
Clinical psychologist Dr. Ronda Hampton, who Mitrice worked with while obtaining her degree in psychology, also made a plea to the public to help find the missing woman.
