On Monday, rapper Lil Wayne returned to his hometown of New Orleans for one final concert performance in ‘The Big Easy’ before he spends twelve months behind bars.
The singer said to his adoring fans at the New Orleans Arena, “I’m nothing without you.” Lil Wayne aka Dwayne Carter, 27, pleaded guilty in October to weapons possession charges. He agreed to a plea deal, which requires he spend a year in jail. He’ll be sentenced on Feb. 9.
According to CBS News, the rapper is scheduled to be tried for felony drug possession and weapons charges in March in Arizona. He also had a run in with the law in Texas after police found marijuana on two of his tour buses.
His next CD, aptly entitled ‘Rebirth,’ is slated for release on Feb. 1.
On what he’s calling his farewell tour, Lil Wayne is scheduled to perform another show in southern Louisiana and a few more shows in Texas, according to CBS News.

@Leslie
You call him a loser, this boy's been in the game for ages beyond what you know about hip hop so back off and think 2x before you diss a legend and forefather of hip hop. If you don't feel him you ain't real.
