Kyron Horman case update: Missing boy’s parents ask those with information to come forward (video)
Today marks the eighth week that Oregon boy Kyron Horman has been missing and his parents held a press conference at the Embassy Suites in Tigard to stress they need help from anyone who may have information regarding his disappearance.
The second-grader’s father, Kaine Horman told the press “I’ve heard people say that they’re afraid to get involved and to come into this and you know… It makes me really emotional… he’s afraid, OK? There’s no fear that should override his at this point in time. So if you feel you’re afraid, put yourself in his shoes for two minutes, OK? This is about him. This is about finding him.”

Both Kaine and Kyron’s mother, Desiree Young, asked anyone who has had contact with Kaine’s estranged wife Terri Horman, or her friend DeDe Spicher to contact law enforcement.
Young said “If they know them or if they’ve talked to them ever, they need to come forward and share what they know.”
Kyron vanished on June 4 after attending a school science fair with Terri. She told authorities she last saw the boy as he walked toward his classroom at 8:45 a.m. He did not return home on the school bus that day, thus the family called police.
Spicher is reportedly a good friend of Terri's. Her home was searched a few weeks ago and Kyron's parents believe she is a possible accomplice in Kyron's disappearance. For an hour or so on the day the boy went missing, Spicher's whereabouts are reportedly unaccounted for.
Kaine has since filed for divorce from Terri and has served her with a restraining order, claiming she was planning to kidnap the couple’s infant daughter, that she was having an affair, and that she tried to hire a hit man to kill him.
Kyron’s parents have hope that he is still alive, but believe he is being held against his will.
