Jaycee Lee Dugard: Missing children who were found alive (slideshow), part 1

Jaycee Lee Dugard, who was kidnapped at the age of 11 in 1991, was found alive on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009. This photo shows Jaycee prior to her ordeal. (AP)

The reappearance of Jaycee Lee Dugard, who went missing almost two decades ago, brings to mind the cases of other children—some thought to be dead—who  were abducted and were later miraculously discovered alive.

These children managed to survive, sometimes enduring horrific treatment under dreadful conditions. Their stories give hope to families who may be desperately searching for a missing child, that one day they may be reunited with their loved ones.

As the parents of missing Madeleine McCann said after hearing of Jaycee’s story, “…we should never assume that someone is not alive without any evidence to support this. We should never give up...”

The poorest woman is Natascha Kampusch, because she doesn't find social appreciation, love ... The comments in Austrian medias are terribly primitive and even judge Adamovic has no idea of what happens mentally being a child victime, all these psychological articles about Jaycee Lee Dugard, why she bonded, why she didn't escape, nobody in Austria seems have ever read anything alike. I would just like to make up for her mother and embrace her and I'm suffering with her, in imagination of her desperate and isolated life in "freedom".
