Hassani Campbell
On Friday, the foster parents of missing 5-year-old Hassani Campbell have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Louis Ross, 38, the foster father of Hassani, and Jennifer Campbell, 33, the boy’s aunt were taken into custody by authorities, according to CBS 5.
Earlier this month, Ross spoke to HLN's Nancy Grace and gave her his version of what occurred on Aug. 10, the day the little boy disappeared. He claimed to have left Hassani standing outside his BMW for two to five minutes, as he went to open the front door of the shoe store where the boy’s aunt works. This was to ask her to open the back door so Hassani, who suffers from cerebral palsy, could enter with ease.
Ross explained, "By the time I got there [to the car], Jennifer is already out of the store, walking toward me, asking, 'Where is Hasanni?' And I say, 'What do you mean, where is Hasanni?' And I look around to the side, and he is no longer there."

Last week, court documents revealed that Ross had sent angry text messages regarding the boy to Jennifer Campbell, threatening to leave Hassani at the train station. Authorities also revealed Ross had failed a polygraph test on Aug. 13.
Authorities would not elaborate further on the arrests.

i knew it god make them pay if they are guilty this child was truly helpless wandered off my foot i never believed that crap he wore braces.
so sad. so disgusting...Lord bless his little soul he must be in a better in a place now--so unbelievable! so young. i am angry! just ain't right! i didn't want to believe this---perhaps they will find him alive---i will hold out for that...
April, I knew it too, the father's story never quite made sense. But he only wore ankle braces and his father said he COULD walk. Not perfectly but he didn't wear full leg braces. I could just tell the story was made up. As for Hassani, if he was killed, why can't people be human about things? If you couldn't handle him, then talk to someone, get help but how you think that you can get away with killing a child is beyond me.
That poor little boy, he didn't deserve or ask for any of this! CPS needs to be eliminated! Good Child Welfare my left cheek! Nothing but corrupt government!!! God why are kids taken from good loving homes and dropped into homes with Negligent,Irresponsible, abusive foster parents?!?! This seems that it will always be a vicious repeating circle!
