HaLeigh Cummings case: Misty's father arrested, questioned about missing Florida girl (video)

Misty Croslin’s father, Hank, has been arrested on charges unrelated to the case of missing Florida girl, HaLeigh Cummings. Nonetheless, Nancy Grace’s HLN show reports that authorities are questioning him about the little girl's disappearance.

When HaLeigh disappeared in February, Misty, 17, claimed she was at home with the girl and her younger brother while HaLeigh's father, Ronald Cummings, 25, was at work.

She alleges that she went to sleep and later got up to use the bathroom.  At that time, she saw the kitchen light on, the back door propped open with a brick, and discovered HaLeigh was gone.

Despite this, authorities have said Misty’s timeline as to what happened the night HaLeigh went missing does not add up, and have made her the main focus of the investigation. In addition, in August, Misty reportedly failed several tests analyzing her veracity about the incident, including a voice analysis and polygraph examination.

According to the HLN report, authorities are focusing on Misty’s family in the hopes that they will gain some insight into what happened to HaLeigh. In September, Misty's brother, Hank Croslin Jr., was arrested for grand theft and during questioning told police Misty was not home the night HaLeigh disappeared. HaLeigh's father and Misty were married only a month after she vanished, however, they divorced months later.

Does anyone remember the stepfather of the young lady kidnapped and held for 18 years was the prime suspect for all of those 18 years. It's evident now that he was innocent but yet not only lost his wife, family's trust, respect, job, home but not one word of appology from his ex-wife, the cops who terrorized him for years or any of his family who accepted those cop theories. i haven't heard any apoloies form any of the news papers or tv news networks who did everything possible to verbly convict an innocent man. So before we convict this man lets wait for facts.

The moral of this story is that the examiner.com
Albany, GA. doesn't know anymore about the facts in this case than do any reader. Neither does the cops, District Attorney, or evidently anyone in law inforcement in Florida.
As for the feds they only screw things up. They are glory hunting animals just as are bounty hunting jail bondsmen who spend thousands to idnetify themselves with instant celebratives whom, otherwise they would not even give the time of day.
