On Saturday, Geraldo Rivera's Fox News television show played portions of the the now infamous "lost" videotape of the Anthony jailhouse visit released just last week. Geraldo describes Casey Anthony as, "...selfish, disrespectful, and concerned only about herself--never even mentioning her then still missing child..." Later in the interview he calls Casey "That whiny, selfish, bitch."
Brad Conway, the Anthony family attorney was a guest on the show and agreed with Geraldo the visit should have never taken place, since Casey's attorney, Jose Baez, had instructed her not to participate in any family visits when he was out of town--which he was when the visit took place.
Conway agreed with Geraldo's assertions that his clients, George and Cindy Anthony, were manipulated into the visit, which Geraldo deemed, "a set up."
The two men also agreed it is not likely Casey will testify in her own defense and if the videotape is used during the trial it will be "damning."
Conway and Geraldo went on to discuss Roy Kronk, the public utility worker who found Caylee Anthony's remains on Dec. 11, but had called authorities regarding a bag he had seen in the area as early as August. Conway believes between Kronk revisited the crime scene several times before the discovery and claims to have a credible witness that places Kronk in the area between August 14 and December 11.
Geraldo asks Conway, "Do you think there's more funky information to come out about him?" to which Conway replies, "I know there is."
Kronk was arrested in the 1990s for kidnapping his ex-girlfriend; however, a grand jury found he had been falsely accused. Kronk had also worked as a bounty hunter for 11 years in Kingsport, Tennessee, but ended that career in 2004.
Finally, Conway noted that the Anthony's are not afraid of being indicted for obstruction because they believe they have fully cooperated with authorities. "If the State wants to pitch that ball, we'll knock it out of the park," Conway said.

I agree with Geraldo, she is a whiny little snit only concerned with her own behind. I watched the interview myself and her only concern right now or then was that she was caught! She got upset because nobody was letting her talk, well, she should have done a lot of talking in the beginning when she could have helped them to retrieve the body of her baby girl. She chose to let tons of money be spent, man hours wasted and lots of concern from the public. She only strives for attention to her spoiled little ass! The only tears that fall are not for her baby, but for herself when she gets in a tight spot or someone puts her on the hot block. I agree that it is time to stop wasting time on her, get this to trial and get it over with. Every interview or snippet of news just proves to make me more mad. She should never again see sunlight and most certainly not be able to hot body herself again. this is what she wanted the freedom to do, it should be totally taken from her for life if we can not end that useless life for her. If they had left the death penalty in the picture, she might have confessed to keep her life but when she learned it was out of it,she just clammed up tighter. Her faith is in Bozo Baez who only wants fame for this case, and hopefully he will get the correct kind of fame and not what he expects to get.

Sorry excuse for a Mother and her Attorney is no better - when a Judge has to tell a Attorney to look things up himself says alot....he is lazy and only after himself! This Dream Team is going to back-fire on them, I have faith with the floridains to give a fair hearing and with all the evidence out there they will come back w/quilty! She is obviously hiding what she knows..that's why she keeps getting mad at people for asking for information. She can't do anything from inside to "help" because she doesn't know how to spin a lie without knowing what's going on in the investigation. She wants to be out so she can send the cops on a wild goose chase and cover her own ass.....she did mention Casey...in a wining childish way "I DO want Casey". whatever! I'm a 22 year old mother of 2 and if my child was missing and I was sitting in jail accused of her murder....I wouldn't give a hoot about my case as long as my baby was found! I'd be in hysterics crying asking what they had been doing to find her! UGH she murdered her baby or was involved in the death of her baby......get this over with!
I agree with Bev...I'm not in any way defending Casey, the babykiller, but instead defending the truth...Casey DID mention Caylee several times...she mentioned them all (including Caylee)being home together also...so GERALDO, you should RELISTEN to the tapes before you go bragging about nonsense!! I don't know who noticed in the videos, but she mentioned she is so upset that she has trouble swallowing.. Strange, she didn't seem to have any issues (based on some photos) during the first month her daughter went "Missing"...

I think this article misrepresented what Geraldo said. The article gave the impression that Geraldo was calling Casey Anthony a "whiny, selfish bitch" That's not what happened, he said that if Casey doesn't testify and the jury sees the tape, all they will see is a "whiny, selfish bitch." In other words, they will be tainted by the video. He was actually kissing up to Casey's side, in my opinion, saying the judge should throw the video out. He also allowed The Anthony family lawyer to allege that Ray Kronk could have somehow been involved in this crime. Disgusting. Just disgusting. And a terrible article.

I also watched the ENTIRE video and can count on one hand how many times she mentioned Caylee's name in passing. Other than that, I believe it was possibly 2 or 3 times that she blithely mentioned that she wanted her back. All this in a 45 minute visit. And with no emotion in any manner towards her precious 2 year old daughter. Is that enough???
Not in my mind or the 99% of the population that has been following this case. I'd be one of many going out of my mind, terrified for her and grief-stricken over all this. NOT HER. And you defend those (in)actions on that video. Thank God most of us truly care for our children.
I've seen all of her jail visit interviews and she didn't act like a concerned mother to me. She should've been talking and asking only about her missing daughter. For her to talk about she wants to be home, she misses her parents, getting amazed on how much the rewards was to find Caylee, and laughing are all signs of an unconcerned and guilty mother.

Geraldo is amusing. Love him or not, he knows exactly what he is doing when he confronts people head-on. Confrontations bring out the worst in others, but vital details often become exposed.
