Gabriel Johnson update: Baby’s father believes he was adopted in San Antonio (video)
Logan McQueary, the father of missing 9-month-old Gabriel Johnson, believes his son was adopted in San Antonio, Tex.
McQueary notes two locations of interest, including the Homegate Hotel where Gabriel’s mother, Elizabeth Johnson stayed with the baby. To see photos of Gabriel, believed to be taken at a San Antonio motel, click here.
Locals told McQueary, according to KENS5, that the hotel is a place where adoption agencies house girls for meetings with families who want to adopt.
McQueary also noted that Johnson and the baby were seen on surveillance footage outside Six Flags “on one of the last days the baby was seen,” according to KENS5.
Gabriel disappeared in December when his mother fled Arizona after losing a custody battle with McQueary. She initially told McQueary the boy was dead, but after being arrested in Miami, Fla., she told police she gave Gabriel to an unknown San Antonio couple.
On Saturday, San Antonio police announced Gabriel’s case is now a homicide investigation.

I think with what Logan has uncovered, that it is very possible that Gabriel IS still alive. If he isn't deceased, then I believe that Tammi Smith helped Elizabeth in getting to Texas etc. I feel this way because Tammi was a bit too eager to befriend and then adopt. Who meets someone and decides right then and there that you will adopt a child. On top of that, Jack and Tammi Smith both knew that Logan didn't want the adoption to happen, yet they continued to help Elizabeth. I think at that point a normal person would back off. If a couple does have Gabriel, then they are not going to come forward easily because they don't want to get in trouble. I just don't like that people have to be so selfish and use a chld as a pawn just because they can't be adult enough to handle a situation.
