Casey Anthony case: Woman claims Caylee Anthony's body not in woods in November 2008

Caylee Anthony (Florida State Attorney's Office)

Almost a year after the remains of 2-year-old Caylee Anthony were found in a wooded area near her family’s home, police questioned a woman who was involved in the search for the little girl.

Caylee’s mother, Casey Anthony, is accused of murdering her daughter and then putting her body in garbage bags placed in the woods in the summer of 2008.

On Dec. 11, 2008, a former meter reader, Roy Kronk, found the bag after entering the area to relieve himself.

To read more about Kronk and the defense’s attempt to implicate him in Caylee’s murder, click here.

Joy Wray, who was a volunteer working with Texas Equusearch to find the little girl after she went missing, has relinquished her computer to authorities and was questioned after a search warrant was served at her home.

She claims to have video that proves Caylee’s body was not in the wooded area in November 2008.
This would bolster the defense team’s argument that someone other than Casey placed Caylee’s body in the woods, since Casey was behind bars off and on last year and from Sept. 2008 to the present after being charged with murder.

My whole thing on this the body was or was not there is there is plants, fungus, bugs that take time to grow...This is something they can determine by the plant and bug life growing through the skull and bags. So all of this he say she says crap is not going ot matter until the evidence is put on the table.

I agree with April. However, no way would a Mother wait 31 days to file a missing persons report on a toddler, unless they're guilty.

It was already brought forward that the area was searched but later determined that it was the wrong area. Casey is the one who put Caylee there. Nobody else is to blame but Casey. The defense is looking for anyone they can point the finger at. So, what about the nanny? How are they going to explain that one? Casey deserves the death penalty for what she did to her little girl and I for one will be watching when the judge hands down the sentence.
