On Friday, the Florida state Department of Children and Families paid a visit to the home of George and Cindy Anthony to follow up on a complaint.
George and Cindy are the grandparents of slain toddler, Caylee Anthony, 2. Their daughter, Casey Anthony, 23, is charged with first-degree murder in connection with the toddler’s death.
Bob Darrah, who contacted the agency, became concerned after seeing the Anthonys on a national news program, according to WESH 2 News. On the show, it was revealed the couple has been babysitting the child of a friend.
Darrah, an Orlando, Fla. resident, said he wanted to find out if the couple needed a license to baby sit in their home.
Carrie Hoeppner of the DCF told WESH that Cindy was very open with the agency and said she was “helping a friend who was between babysitters and that’s okay.” Therefore, the complaints were deemed “unfounded.”
Darrah told WESH that George’s attempted suicide and the fact that Cindy may be on disability concerned him and he worried about the child’s well being.
“I would have done it for any similar situation… I would not waste their time,” said Darrah.
Brad Conway, the couple’s attorney, said the complaint amounted to harassment of his clients. He said the Anthonys are examining legal options to deal with the situation.

Recently,I found a very interesting place______Millionaireromances.Com____. It is the best club for seeking the rich singles, beauties and even hot celebs......There are More than 3,200,000 members. including CEOs, professional athletes, doctors, lawyers, investors, entrepreneurs, professional models and cheerleaders, and Hollywood celebrities, just to name a few.I think everyone need to meet some miracle after all the terrible stuff in the news .You should check it out!
I think that DCF should be investigating the mother of the child in this case....why would anyone want the Anthony's watching their child?
Leave it to the Anthony's to grab onto this episode in their lives as a money making attempt, just like they did with Caylee's murder...I'm sure they asked Brad Conway, "How much can we sue this person for?"
I can't really blame the person that called. I'm sure they were just concerned because of what happened to Caylee. Since Casey is not there, it's probably not that big of a deal if they watch the kid. It's up to the kids mother if she wants them to babysit. She may just be letting them watch her kid just to get 15 minutes of fame. Who knows.
Are you kidding me? Harassment and legal options?!? We are talking about two people who have considered suicide in the past year. Possibly involved in a murder case, or atleast lying. Who in their right mind would even let these people within ten feet of their child? I don't blame the person who reported them. We have to watch over these kids. If Cindy and George would have done that in the first place chances are none of this would have happend.
Anthony's are telling untruths again! The little kid was there at the house when they taped the special for 48 hours. I almost died when I saw that Cindy was babysitting. So they are still babysitting.. That is a long time to just be filling in . Hope child services keeps an eye on them . Again they are lying .
Not sure who would let 2 people who are both suicidal and have tempers watch their child. I sure wouldn't ! And now they want to file a laws uit .
Forgot to mention.. If Cindy would try to strangle her own daughter,, what might she do to someone not her own if she happens to loose that temper of hers, which she tends to do on a regular basis.
Legal options? Harassment? Are you serious? Thank God this Orlando person brought that to the attention of DCF. Just think, if more people did that maybe little baby Caylee and Shaniya, and hundreds of thousands of others would still be alive today. And who was the fool who left their child(ren) with them while all this is under investigation? I think it was just a ploy to try to show the public they can be trusted and are normal people. What? You gonna sue me now for defamation? Get over it Anthony's!! You and your daughter have a long road ahead of you of people judging, condencending remarks, opinions, and questions. It is unfortunate you are in the middle of it.... but the truth will prevail, and let's hope you are not part of that truth.
You've got to be kidding me!!!!! In the midst of everything that has transpired, Caylee's Murder, George & Cindy wanting to commit suicide evry other day. Never knowing when the two of them will turn into Mr Hyde, and someone actuall leaves a child with them?!! I wouldn't let them watch my dog!
