On Monday at 4:15 p.m. a hearing will be held regarding the release of photos from Photobucket.com that shows Casey Anthony partying.
Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez, and her defense team are attempting to challenge their release stating the prosecution is attempting to harass and embarrass their client. The motion also includes a photo of the Casey Anthony flag doll that was recently for sale on eBay.
In addition, the defense filed a second motion to block the release of the jailhouse videotape taken of Anthony the day she was told a child’s remains were found near the Anthony home.
Baez claims the Photobucket images were created a prior to Caylee’s disappearance and are irrelevant to the murder case. Baez’s office said, “If they were to be disseminated, they will only sensationalize the life of a young woman and may be used to attempt to paint her in a negative light.”
The defense team is also arguing that when the jail videotaped Anthony, they violated her Sixth Amendment right to have her attorney present, as well as her medical privacy rights.
Anthony is charged with the first-degree murder of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony. Her trial is expected to begin sometime in the fall of 2009.

Are they out of their minds? The pictures of her partying AFTER Caylee went "missing" (and proven to have been taken afterwards) are VERY relevent not to mention VERY telling. Well, I guess this is why Baez is shi##ing in his pants lol.... these pictures will and should be allowed. Too bad Baez, tell your client to use her brain the next time she is going to commit a murder.

They r not trying 2 block the release of the tapes and photo because of embarrassment or harassment. They r trying 2 block it because its incriminating 2 Casey. The public should see any/all photo's and video..WHO CARES ABOUT EMBARRASSING CASEY!!! JUST PUT HER IN THE JAIL POPULATION AND THROW AWAY THE KEY!!! Jose is a idiot!!!

Yes, you are all correct about the kind of person she appears to be. Another thing she did that I think really showed who she really is is the way she is reported to have laughed about the searchers of Caylee not having even found the clothes of Caylee "yet."
While I sometimes entertain the thought that perhaps some of her friends had something to do with this I just can't see it. I could be wrong but I think many of her old homies are probably sitting around, still, saying what just happened?

The photosn of ca dressed in flag was already released and everyone has already see the ebay dolls. As far as the tape of Casey when she received word that they had found the remains is not that important. Her behaviour prior to then spoke enough. All the prior videos showed no emotion and she was a liar, trying to cover up the murder of her daughter. The only video that show emotion was the last one where she lashed out at her parents. The only emotion she had then was self pity for herself and rage toward her parents. One could see the pain George and Cindy were going through. Her only concern was for herself and her trying to work a defense in case "it went to trial". It showed through the tapes that she knew Caylee would never be found alive. The last film was so bad, I thought her head would start twirling around and around. With the previous tapes, no other is needed. As far as the reaction of Casey when her daughters bones were found, it was for herself, not that her child was dead, but whoops, her lies may not work this time.
heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere we go, the family of casey have been thru soooooooo much. Why is that? Is there some OJ Simpson type of conspiracy out there in Orlando that has randomly pinpointed this family to destroy it?....OR....is the level of dysfunction so deep that Lee, George, Cindy will be in this state of transparent denial until they hear the words....in the matter of the case of the state of florida vs. the pathological lying killer has reached a verdict and the verdict is guilty....oh wait....they will of course appeal it and they will go back into the throes of denial until the appeal is over.....and one more wait....when she is serving her sentence, the family will be out searching for the REAL Zenaida that they will find and convince to tell the truth to exonerate the killer.
Ok....make sense? I am so over the theatrics in this. Baez, good luck when this case is over. if you have work after this, I will be shocked.
Baez is just an employee working for the CEO of the Casey Anthony Murder Co., Ms. Anthony herself. The murderess of her toddler wants those pictures and that video left out because they show her for the narcissist and sociopath that she is - thinking only of herself and not her toddler. Her public image is more important to her than a murder conviction. In every video of her jailhouse visits, all she did was whine about what "the media" and public said about her and the family. They should get "a life," she said about bloggers who said "horrible things" - the truth - about her and her family. I'd like to remind Ms. Anthony that none of us killed our toddler and then for 30 days partied and got a tattoo that said, "Beautiful Life" until our mama called the cops on us. We aren't spending the rest of our life behind bars. Our life doesn't consist of one hour of free time and the other 23 hours to sleep, eat, read, snack and think of new lies to tell her attorney. I was glad that Lee gave us an insight into her latest Zenaida story today. Lee says she admitted she lied to the cops when she said she left Caylee with Zenaida at Sawgrass Apartments. Now she says Zenaida stole Caylee from her in Jay Blanchard Park and told her if she told anyone she would kill Caylee, Lee, Cindy and George. He also told how Zenaida controlled her facebook and left her messages every day and told her to go to Walmart and Target and charge up her mother's credit cards and spend stolen checks from her friend Amy. I don't know how he could tell the fairy tale with a straight face and also say he believed everything his sister said, although he admitted she lied all the time. No wonder he was laughing as he gave the deposition. A five year old could come up with something more believable than that. It's amazing how the Anthonys swallow the Kasey Kool Aid over and over.
