Adam Lambert, last season’s American Idol runner-up, appears to be the victim of a stalker, according to reports.
Tweets from Tuesday's Tampa concert stated there was a girl outside the Idol buses who guards at the event were worried about. Apparently producers of the Idol tour told security that a girl was following Lambert and may be armed and dangerous.
There was also indication the the female had been stalking Lambert since early in the morning.
The Twitter report also stated a security guard said people back stage were “freaking out,” so Lambert was whisked away in a car as soon as the show ended.
There was no indication if the stalker was arrested or detained.

If I were at a concert and anyone went after Adam I would go after them and get the ---- by the hair. No one better try to mess with Adam while I am around! Let the haters know that they will not get away with Adam aggression, we will track them down!
I really hope that this crazy person was arrested and charged. Her behaviour is just ridiculous. Who does she think she is. Adam deserves to be respected and worshiped by his fans. But following him, stalking him and creating all this chaos is NOT a way to show him that you are a devoted fan. Some lines should NEVER be crossed. PERIOD. I hope that Adam is well and that he will never again have to go through this kind of stress and worry again. He doesnt deserve it. If this person was following him in order to harm him and be hateful, well that person is just disgusting and should learn to be more open minded and respectful towards others. Adam is the BEST!!!

For crying out loud people, leave Adam alone! Let him entertain us, do his thing, and be on his way. I'm sure that's what he wants and we, as fans, should respect that. Love Ya Adam!

We were at the Tampa concert but no one knew anything about it until we all realized he was not coming out to the M & G The concert was awesome Adam was beyond words -I was in front row He is even more handsome in person. Outside we all chanted for Adam at least every 10 minutes. We asked repeatly -when is Adam coming out and no one would answer. We all started wondering because it seemed like the other idols were taking so much time-even going inside and coming back out when we chanted for Adam the last time Micheal was out I asked him directly he said he is not coming out due to security problem. ( Micheal had a great performance) We were crushed we had waited hours. I stood next to a family of 3 generations of women and granny was 75 We all started to cry with disappointment. We walked by as the buses pulled away and the arena worker told us Adam had left after the concert because of a serious threat. That stalker dashed our hopes of meeting Adam.Good thing did not see that person!
I believe this completely because in a video in NC or GA from the third row you see Adam look down in row one in the finale and look concerned then flash a smile to the fan. But for a brief moment he looked like he did a double take before the smile. Jeeze...like a tv movie, poor guy.

Ugh if i ever saw that freakin b***h, i would seriously punch her in her face. She ruined the meet and greet for so many fans that waited so long for Adam.

If there was someone following Adam all day then why wasn't this sick person arrested in the morning. There needs to more protection and stronger laws against stalking, or harassment. No wonder actors like Johnny Depp leave this country. Do we want Adam to have to flee the US just for his own safety? darn, I don't! He is just beginning. I want our world idol to live here and be happy. So many of Adam's fan in other countries would love to see him in concert. So do I! I'm going in August, and I want this to be the first of many. Lets protect Adam ,and remember that He has a right to privacy.
Maybe let's not be paranoid. It might just be an overzealous fan who loves Adam too much. No harm in this. But cute to know what Megan would do to harmful people. Yes, I would do the same too.

Megan we all felt the same way. If the crowd waiting for Adam had seen this person or anyone try to hurt Adam in anyway, it would have been a new horror movie the attack of the girls and granny's!
It's not even true. Someone at the Tampa concert tweeted about a woman being arumentative (over zealous fan) with security and it grew from there. Look at the band members tweets. They didn't know anything about it. Like the game of telephone when you were a kid. Adam was NEVER in danger. There are a lot of reasons not to come out to M&G.
he`s a man forGODS sakes flesh and bone, man. i`m sure tired after a show, give him some space andRESPECT people, he does this for us as a favor, he does`nt have to!! i love him too, sooo much, from a distance!! don`t crowd him into never wanting to be with us !we`re so blessed to have such a gifted man in our midst,let him breathe and feel wanted not demanded!!

And I think if theres the serious security issue,tour members might not talk on twitter for their security.
I am an ADAM fanatic but levelheaded. But we can't discount the possibility that there are rabid fans who maybe mentally unbalanced. I would love to meet and get near ADAM for the experience of a lifetime. But I will also be content admiring him from a distance. But don't let anyone try anything to harm him because I will be the first to protect and defend him. By the way I'm in my 50's. Just love this gorgeous boy. Let's be thankful for this gift from GOD. Give him space to breathe and rest. He needs all that to continue entertaining us and the world.
I am really concerned about Adam's security. There is so much hate around him as love. Even though some of the ones that claim to love him are slightly weird... however, most of them seem to be innocent. Now, the ones that hate him, do it with such a passion that is scary.
Hope the person with the gun was arrested.

Fans use to be thought of as a little crazy but harmless--in the early days of The Beatles but then John Lennon got shot by a mentally ill fan. So,I do not blame security for being careful.
The women seem to get a lot out of getting those autographs but it only takes one mentally ill fan to ruin it for those who are just music lovers.
We talked to lots of fans by the buses on the way out. Some said when they asked Kris he looked down and said he's sick but we find out that was not true from the workers around the buses. Obviously the person was not arrested they thought she was still in crowd-the person next to me touched Allison's hair she jumped back very scared and said I thought you put something on my neck. I starting thinking last night why did they even let any of them go around we know they were stalling for time as Adam left, but now it seems a bit dangerous. M & G are open outside anyone can be there maybe they should cancel them.The reason the arena workers spoke up because some fans starting saying Adam doesn't care about his fans Two of the arena guys said no he had serious threat this morning- I thought it great they must have met and liked him because they defended him.
connie - allison said in an interview that there was a fan who touched her neck and she freaked out because she hates being touched on the back of her neck. that has nothing to do with this exaggerated stalker story or thinking she was still in the crowd! you guys are going way overboard with this. it's nothing but hearsay, gossip from security guards at the venue who like to exaggerate things to make themselves feel important. adam doesn't come out before the shows either because he needs rest and time to himself - who knows why he didn't come out!
"MEDIA BIAS"-read into one single expression he made on stage and say it was because he thought he recognized this "stalker", come on! are you for real? in that case, i guess when he smiles really happily during whole lotta love on stage, he must be thinking of me then. safe to assume right?

Lynn why do ignore all the actual facts that are here? I don't get it. Fact-Adam did not come out due to security problem at Sunrise and Tampa. I know he does not come out before the show.Fact-The people that we got our info from actual had direct contact with Adam and the idols We looked straight at them when they told us why he was not coming out. As I said before the rest is everyone trying to figure out the details
LOL "fact" is not what some venue security guard says. the only fact you have is that adam did not come out after the show--everyone saw that with their own eyes. that's it. anything beyond that point is SPECULATION. security guards are known for lying to attendees who are waiting around for artists after the show. i don't care if he looked you in the eye and then swore on his mother's life - these are not "facts" until they are directly confirmed by someone in adam's management team - NOT a venue security guard who is contracted for hire by an outside company and is not a part of their entourage. it's still a secondhand account.

Oh really? Michael Sarver sat down and said that Adam Lambert had a "stalker" and couldn't come out because she was "armed and dangerous"? Really? He said it was due to security issues. We also know that Danny Gokey could not come out by the buses one morning due to security CLEARANCE - which could mean that there weren't enough guards to handle another idol outside with whatever size crowd they have. It doesn't automatically mean STALKER when there's an issue with idols and security. Anyone ever think that since Adam's fans are the ones who tend to be most over the top that that in itself caused a "security" issue in regards to crowd control and providing protection for him? I'm not saying there may not have been a weird fan who may have said or did something strange that caused them to ask for extra security, but I seroiusly doubt there was a dangerous stalker out there with intent to harm because there's no way they'd let the other idols out by the buses with that risk.
I was in the front row in fort lauderdale and Adam never made eye contact with anyone ..there was noone wearing adam stuff except my bud and I in the front rows of the fort lauderdale concert and adam ignored us.... we got tons of interaction with all the other idols performing except mac and kris... who knows whats going on with adam but its a quick way to lose fans ..i for one had more fun watching lil allsion matt and even sarver at least they made u feel like you were there..adam did not...
Why is this turning against Adam? Most performers never see fans after a show. I don't understand whey Adam is being blamed for not coming out due to security reasons. Also a performer plays to the entire venue not just those that can afford the front row seats. They normally don't make eye contact with front row like they are the only ones at the concert.Adam excites even the ones in the nosebleed seats. He is a more seasoned performer I'm sure the others will learn they are talented too.
