A cardiologist at South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside has been arrested for allegedly downloading kiddie porn on a home computer.
Dr, Frank Pollaro, a Babylon resident, is accused of having traded about pornographic videos and images of young girls over the internet within the last five years.
Pollaro was arraigned in federal court, since the porn was distributed all over the country- making it a federal offense. He has been released on bond.
