Juan Macias Police photo
One of three suspects pictured in a Community Alert has been arrested in the shooting death of man who was with a group of people that became lost on the Southeast side.
Juan Macias, 21, of the 10100 block of South Avenue N is charged with first degree murder in the death of Carlton Ewing on August 17 at 8:23 p.m.
Police say Ewing was a passenger in a car whose driver got lost on the way to a baseball game in the south suburbs.
As the group drove near 98th and Ewing, Macias and two others allegedly flashed gang signs at the car and one of them fired a gun. Ewing was hit and killed.
Police issued a Community Alert last week with photos of the suspects taken from a police pod camera ( see below). Police say Macias is the one in the middle photo. The search continues for the other two.

The police believes it's the guy in the middle. But it doesn't even look like him. They caught the wrong person!
It's not him. Why do innocent people always get caught for something they didn't do? You know not all hispanic people look alike. You can clearly tell by looking at the pictures. I hope he beats the case and sues for falsely being accused of something he didn't do!!!!
Juan Macias is INNOCENT!!!! Why is he in jail?? He needs to be out of jail now!!!!
clearly you could see its not my nephew juan, why dont you look for his sisters murderer instead of locken up a innocent man let him be with his children and go find the right murderer
