The Chicago Sun-times is reporting the arrest of an 86-year-old "habitual" shoplifter who was caught stealing wrinkle cream and othes items from a North Side store yesterday.
According to the Sun-times, police say this is the 61st shoplifting arrest for Ella Orko. Her first arrest was back in 1956. Despite all those arrests, she reportedly has just 13 convictions.
Besides her age, the boldness of her shoplifting is notable. Orko allegedly had five salmon packages, 11 battery packs, two jars anti-wrinkle creams, eight jars of face cream and four jars of instant coffee, all tucked away in her clothing.
