Murder charges are filed against a Chicago man who allegedly shot and killed a Burr Ridge man after the two argued in a night club early Sunday.
Jose Melecio, 30, of the 4600 block of South Sawyer, is charged with first degree murder in the death of Carlos Aguirre, 29, of Burr Ridge.
Police say the two were at a club on the 1500 block of Webster in Lincoln Park when they had some sort of a verbal altercation.. Aguirre left the club and Melecio followed him to his car, pulled out a handgun and shot him, according to police.
Aguirre was pronounced dead at Illinois Masonic Hospital.
