Two Latin King gang members are charged with attempted murder in the shootings of a couple during a home invasion in Glen Ellyn.
The DuPage County sheriff's department says the two suspects broke into the home believing there were drugs inside.
Alejandro Roman, 18, of the 2500 block of South Spaulding in Chicago and James Kral, 20 of the 22W400 block of Cherry Lane, in unincorporated Glen Ellyn, are in the DuPage County Jail on $1 million dollar bond.
The pair is accused of breaking into a home on the 800 block of Busch Road October 23. Once inside they allegedly shot a 20-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man. Both survived their injuries.
In addition to the two counts of attempted murder charges, Roman and Kral also are each charged with two counts of aggravated battery with a firearm and one count of home invasion. Investigators say both men admitted being members of the Latin Kings street gang.

WOW is appropriate for your name as I read your comments. The simple fact 'Jimmy' admits he is a Latin Kings gang member isnt enough to consider that your good boy couldnt be involved? Every criminal has a mother, a father, and family that vouch for their good nature (I have some in my family). Your best support should be to confront 'Jimmy' with a reality check and get him to understand the consequences of his actions. Even if he was not involved in the shooting as you say, I doubt 'Jimmy' joined the Latin Kings to build houses for the poor. EOM

I think all the comments here are fking dumb..I know Jimmy personally..& I honestly don't think he's guilty.
