Chicago police took in a major haul of illegal weaponry found in the suburban home of an alleged gang member and convicted felon.
Jody Haley, 42, of the 7200 block of Park Avenue in Summit, was arrested yesterday afternoon after police got a search warrant for his home. Investigators were acting on a tip that the weapons were inside, according to a department press release.
Confiscated from the home were five semi-automatic handguns, three revolvers, four rifles, magazine clips and other ammunition. More than 30 grams of marijuana was also found.
Haley is charged with 13 counts of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and one count of felony possession of cannabis - over 30 grams.

Gang member or not, I don't care. But If you know you are not supposed to have guns then you shouldn't have guns. That's just common sense. And the pot? That's just the cops looking for something else to add to the charges. We all know it will be legal soon anyways.
