Bond is set at $1 million for a Streamwood woman charged with deliberately crushing a 17-year-old boy to death by ramming her car into him and pinning him to a wall.

Timera Branch, 33, appeared in Kane County court this morning charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the death of John W. Keyes of Elgin.

Authorities aren't saying how Branch knew Keyes or what her motive was for the alleged murder, but the Daily Herald reports Keyes' family members say the killing was in retaliation for a fight Keyes had with Branch's 16-year-old son the night before.

Keyes was killed Sunday afternoon when police say Branch drove her car over a curb and pinned Keyes in the driveway of the Burnham Wing Schoolhouse Apartments on the 200 block of Center street in Elgin.
