A Lawrenceville man faces Arson charges after say someone used a firework to try and set in girlfriends house on fire. Police say Joshua Rotkaen, 21 also faces battery charges in a suspected domestic dispute. Fire department spokesmanCapt. Thomas Rutledge were called to the woman's hose on Stone Hollow Place after a neighbor saw flames around 6:00 am Thursday.
Investigators were called in when fire crews spotted a device used on fireworks near the burn scene. Rutlege says a warrant was issued to search Rotkaen House where they found fireworks identical to the one found at the house burning scene. Only moderate damage was caused to the home siding and no injuries were reported.
