At least two men have been targeting some of the popular restaurants in Paulding County and deputies are asking for the public’s help in stopping them.
There have been three armed robberies, between 9 and 11p.m. in two weeks in the south Paulding area, Paulding County Sheriff’s Sgt. Brandon Gurley said.
So far no one has been injured in the robberies, he said.
The first incident happened on Nov. 23 at the Subway at 6525 Hiram Douglasville Hwy. in Powder Springs.
On Monday, less than a week later, someone robbed the Dominos Pizza in the same area, Sgt. Gurley said. Two days later two men robbed the Waffle House at 4865 Ridge Road in Douglasville.
Witnesses told investigators that an armed man wearing a mask and gloves robbed the first two restaurants and two men wearing masks and gloves committed the third robbery.
Anyone with information on the armed robberies is asked to contact the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at (770) 443-3015. Also, anonymous tips may be made through Crime Stoppers Atlanta at (404) 577-8477.
