From Warner Bros. Pictures comes the true story of Michael Oher, a player for the Baltimore Ravens football team. Michael is basically homeless, poorly educated, and withdrawn from people. He meets Leigh Ann Tuohy's son who is friendly to Michael, and Leigh Ann realizes he has no where to go. Reaching out to him, she convinces him to stay with them for the night. Sean and Leigh Ann Tuohy (Tim McGraw and Sandra Bullock) adopt Michael, they send him to school and encourage him to study hard and eventually, play football. They show him the kindness of loving people, and in turn, he grows into a great man right in front of them.
The trailer is definitely a grabber; I actually had to cough a couple of times to keep from crying. Sandra Bullock is always a favorite, but here she shows an awesome character that I haven’t seen her play before. Co-starring Kathy Bates, Ray McKinnon and Quinton Aaron as Michael “Big Mike” Oher, this one looks incredible.
Set to release on November 20th, 2009 and directed by John Lee Hancock is The Blind Side.
