It's not often that Anchor Brewing in San Francisco comes out with a new release. This fall, they released a new beer in honor of 30 years at their current production facility. That beer is Humming Ale.
Humming Ale, as with many of the beers offered by Anchor Brewing, doesn't apply a label to itself. Upon tasting the beer, you'll be greeted with a light bodied, hoppy ale that can either be described as a hoppy English pale ale or a refreshing session style IPA. Regardless of the categorization, this is a unique offering from Anchor Brewing and one that should be experienced first hand.
That said, Humming Ale won't be a beer you'll have much time to sample. This brew will only be available on draft and supplies are limited. In Sonoma County, you can find Humming Ale at Hopmonk Tavern, Taps and the Toad in the Hole as well as select bars and pubs.
Act quickly as once this beer is gone there are no guarantees that it will come back.
