College football and craft beer... a winning combo!
Football and craft beer go together like cheese and pizza. If you're a fan of college football - in particular our very own Air Force Falcons - and great local craft beer then you'll want to join other fans for the start of the 2010 football season.
Toast to the Host is a pre-season party and beer tasting! The shindig will take place on Saturday, August 7 from 11:00am to 1:30pm at the Cadet Gym Terrazzo.
Price of admission is only $25 and includes beer, wine and food samples. Vendors include Colorado Mountain Brewery, Rockyard Brewing Company, Rock Bottom and Trinity Brewing Company. Every attendee will receive a free Air Force sample size pilsner glass.
Now here's what makes this truly unique. While you're suckin' suds and grubbin' on great food you'll be watching the football team practice from the terrazzo area! Following the practice fans will actually get to meet head coach Troy Calhoun and the rest of the Falcon coaching staff, plus get the inside scoop on the upcoming season.
