Great American Beer Festival video hub from Examiner.com and BeerTapTV

The Great American Beer Festival will storm Denver from Sept. 24-26. With nearly 500 breweries attending this year's sold out event, it's going to take a lot of coverage to do it justice meaning Examiner.com and BeerTapTV.com will be collaborating on a series of videos from the festival.

Friday: George Wendt made a name for himself playing Norm for more than a decade on Cheers. But we love him because he is simply a fun guy to drink a beer with. And he wrote a really cool book, Drinking with George. He gave Examiner.com and BeerTapTV a great interview during the middle of the Friday night GABF madness:

Friday:
Jim Koch founded the Boston Beer Co. and was one of the craft beer pioneers in the 80s. He talks about maintaining status as a craft beer expert while producing more than 1 million barrels of beer a year, producing interesting beers each year and how he'd rather be brewing than marketing:

Friday: Michael Frenn, the Sacramento Home Brewing Examiner, and Nick Campbell, head brewer at Blue Frog Grog and Grill in Farfield County, Ca, talk about the beer they brewed together in the GABF's pro am competition:

Friday: It only takes a few beers to make Great American Beer Festival fans feel like professional dancers and television announcers:

Friday: Moments before his main stage interview with Examiner.com and BeerTapTV, George Wendt (Norm from Cheers) stops into the Examiner.com booth for a quick Q&A:

Friday: Ginger Johnson just started a three-month, nationwide tour at the GABF to publicize her effort, Women Enjoying Beer, to prove women can be just as good beer geeks as men:

Thursday: GABF founder and Beer Examiner Charlie Papazian sits down with Erik Boles at Falling Rock Tap House:

Thursday: Patrick Rue, head brewer at The Bruery, stops into the Examiner.com booth:

Thursday: Chef Adam Duyle of the Culinary School of the Rockies discusses beer and food pairing in the Farm to Table Lounge with LA Craft Beer Examiner Chris Spradley:

Thursday: The reason the Farm to Table Lounge came to the Great American Beer Fest

Thursday: Kyle Mendenhall of The Kitchen in Boulder talks about the Farm to Table Lounge:

Thursday: Where to you go to get great beer in Denver? The Falling Rock Tap House. An interview with Falling Rock owner Chris Black:

Here is the kickoff with myself and Examiner.com Food & Drink Channel Manager Jacob Harkins:

Not only does Charlie Papazian, Great American Beer Festival founder, write for Examiner.com, but we have dozens of other craft beer experts covering hops and barley. A nice Vanilla Porter from Breckenridge Brewery. Very tasty way to break up a Wednesday afternoon break from the office.
