The beer festival formerly known as "Foam Fest" (because having two different festivals with the same name in the Lower Front Range was odd) is coming to downtown Colorado Springs in just a few weeks!
As the old axiom goes, a picture is worth a thousand words... so instead of babbling incessantly look at the big poster above for most of the details.
However, since it is my job to write words in this column, here are a few other things that might convince you to attend. Live music will be performed by The Way Low Down and the Jake Loggins Band! Brews and blues... do you need any other reason to attend? Really? Well, for $20 (or even if you're too lazy to buy tix in advance and have to fork out $25) there is no better value for your beer festival buck. Seven hours of glorious, unlimited - drink responsibly! - craft beer sampling, blues, and grub from Old Chicago and Rock Bottom. Plus, the gang from Beer Tap TV will be on hand as well.
And for you bike riders out there, there will be a leisurely ride starting at Antlers Park at 8:30AM and returning right before the festival opens. Riders receive some exclusives, like a swag bag and special raffle tickets.
There's no reason not to come out and have a few beers in the park!
The where and when:
- Antlers Park (31 W Pikes Peak Ave.)
- Colorado Springs, CO
- Saturday, July 24, 11:00AM - 7:00PM
- Tickets can be purchased at bristol Brewing, Rock Bottom or and Springs Old Chicago.
