According to KTTU.com and the Anchorage Daily News, a 52 year old resident of Quitman, Arkansas, Mark LeVrier, was arrested for sexually abusing a minor while helping her family move to Alaska. LeVrier, who once resided in Lockhart, Texas, worked for 23 years for Child Protective Services in Austin, Texas, and the police believe that he may have molested other minors.
LaVrier, who is disabled and uses a wheelchair, allegedly molested the girl while in Canada. According to reports, he admitted to having molested the girl when the family confronted him. LaVrier turned himself in when he found out he was wanted by the police.
The report of LeVrier sexually molesting a minor comes on the heals of the report of a California Child Protective Services employee who was charged with sexually molesting a boy in his care.

I imagine that another supposed helper of children being an actual monster!!!!When in this country are people going to be smart enough to run CPS out of business?I guess when enough children die and are abused in the child care system. This is sickening.Where are our lawmakers that claim they care about these children?Oh that's right protecting their own backsides for approving of these organizations instead of trying to right the wrongs. When parents are suspected of child abuse they are raked over the coals and sometimes arrested only to find out records have been manipulated by these supposed outstanding pillars of CPS.Why are the CPS workers that lie and abuse their power and authority not arrested?
The US seems to following the path of the UK in creating JOBS which often HARM FAMILIES.
The UK is proposing legislation which will curb some of the powers of CPS and social services. For example, proposing independent evaluations of children and families.
"Whores of the Court", written by a research Doctorate in psychology demonstrates and forewarns Courts of the *junk science* which currently invades Family Court.
