Representative Michelle Bachmann (R) from Minnesota has called upon citizens to once again converge on Washington in a last minute protest to stop the House from passing Obama’s health care reform bill this week. She is asking tea party protestors and all concerned citizens to, not just protest outside, but actually go to congressional offices and visit their representatives.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is pushing for a vote on the 1,990 page legislative mammoth, HR 3962, on Thursday or Friday this week. Simultaneously, the Republicans will be introducing their legislation for health care reform as an alternative to the Democrats’ plan.

The events start at noon on the Capitol steps with Rep. Bachmann, actor Jon Voight, and talk show host Mark Levin as speakers for the rally. Protestors will then go into the congressional offices to speak with their representatives and leave copies of protest letters.

    What is your answer to the health care problem Republicans? You are just a bunch of obstructionists. You offer no alternative, admit it.

    Sore losers, nothing more.

    Most Americans want health care reform. It should not be a for-profit business.

    Has anyone seen the Republican plan? What a disaster. It caters strictly to industry. It offer no break for working families and NOTHING for the uninsured, who byt he way, we are already all paying for RIGHT NOW.

    Sad, these attempts by the GOP to oofer an "alternative"

    I would say that the Old Stagnant Republican Party should "buzz off" and join up with the liberals--that's what they do when the heat is turned up--see recent N.J. race and past switch-a- party "buy outs"of old,old R-party members.
    Its time for setting staunch Conservative pre-qualifications and principals that stem from our Fore-Fathers concepts Of "How to run a Democratic-Republican Government enforced with daily prayers and the reading of GOD'S WORD> everything else tried has proven to fail and miserably---so,,, let's get back to a Christian Democratic-Republican Government and start with a newly named REPUBLICAN PARTY to wit.;

    What other kind kind of business is there? Non-profits are CHARITIES. The government is not a charity.

    The country is waking up! The Dem's ideas have never worked in any other country that has tried universal healthcare so you have to be an idiot to move in that same direction. Free Market can always do it better and cheaper than the Govt.

    Do these people already have health insurance? I guess they do. So it's all about protecting their coverage. Wait until they lose their jobs. And their heathcare. They will be protesting then too. Or will they be first in line when the bill is passed.
