Miley Cyrus pulls out the 'celebrity' card at Pop Burger in New York

Which is it? Private or the "Don't you know who I am" card?

The star of the Disney series, 'Hannah Montana,' and pop-country singer, Miley Cyrus, has made many headlines in her short life, even more so recently. From an off-set romance with her co-star of the upcoming film 'The Last Song,' Liam Hemsworth, to the recent Cyrus tour bus tragedy that left one dead and nine injured, the teenager claims she just wants privacy.

A short time ago, Cyrus fans were shocked when she abruptly deleted her Twitter account, in which Cyrus shot back with a hip-hop video on YouTube rapping the reasons why she no longer wanted to be a part of the Twitter world. "No, I ain't living for tabloids; I'm living for me," is a clear lyric from her YouTube video. Miley admitted in her hip-hop video she was obsessed with Twitter, but it was time for her to start living for herself.

Even in a recent interview with 'Seventeen' magazine, the teen stated, "It sucks when your personal life becomes public, so I'm finding ways to make my personal and private life more of my life, which is one of the reasons why I deleted my Twitter account."

Yet, at a burger joint in New York, Miley pulled out the 'celebrity' card when the clerk had no clue who Miley Cyrus was at all. Cyrus and a friend visited Pop Burger on East 58th Street in New York, and placed an order. When the counter manager asked for her name to mark the order, Miley Cyrus didn't mind separating her private and public celeb life at all. The New York Post quoted Cyrus snapping at the manager, “Are you serious? You don’t recognize me? I'm Miley Cyrus."

The clerk still had no idea who Cyrus was, ran her credit card with her name on it, and just shrugged as he said, "That's nice for you. Here is your order. Have a good day."

... leave it to the New Yorkers. Odds are he knew full well who she was - but just wanted to bust her chops.

New York Post. A tabloic newspaper?? Why would anyone believe this. Why isn't the person who gave them the story named. They hav enothing to loose. They don't work for her so they can't be fired. They can't be sued if the story is true. But they can be sue if thier name is used and the story is false. That is the only reason that I can think of as to why the name of the person who provided this story to the NY Post isn't revealed.

To that end, lack of validity makes this story false to any mature person with common sense.

For reference, the writers of the Page Six entertainment page for the New York Post are by Richard Johnson, Emily Smith and Neel Shah. I can't repost a link in this section because it doesn't allow it, but it is at the bottom of my article to see it directly.

IF the story is true(doubtful);it only proves how clueless New Yorkers are. Miley Cyrus is one of the most,if not THE most, popular, not to mention recognizable, teenagers on the planet.
