Luke Bryan has been chosen by Rhapsody as the only country music artist in promoting their new Rhapsody application for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch.

The all new application gives iPhone and iPod Touch users access to more than eight million tracks immediately. Users connect over a 3G, Edge or WiFi network, and instantly can find a favorite artist, album or track upcoming news. Users can add new tracks to their music library, create playlists, and have the option to purchase MP3's directly from their device.

Bryan's upcoming album, Doin' My Thing, set to release October 6, will be featured on the appication. Bryan's new album cover from Doin' My Thing is featured along with album covers by Basement Jaxx, Black Eyed Peas, Shakira, and Colbie Callait.

A commercial that highlights the app on the iPhone will air across CMT, as well as MTV, VH1, Comedy Central, Spike TV, and other Viacom properties, for four weeks. Be sure to check out the print ad appearing in Rolling Stone magazine as well, once the promotion kicks off.

Bryan recently celebrated a number one video for the lead single, "Do I," off Doin' My Thing.

Before Luke Bryan's Miller Lite Tour this year, he spent time touring with Kenny Chesney, Trace Adkins, and Dierks Bentley in 2008.
