The video for Taylor Swift’s latest single with be debuting on August 27 in a global cross-channel, cross-platform event. CMT, MTV, VH1 and MTV International will all debut Swift’s video on August 27. The video will reach 160 different countries around the world.
Starting at 8:30 pm ET, CMT.com, MTV.com and VH1.com along with several MTV International Sites will debut the video. Starting at 9:00 pm ET, the video will debut on-air on MTV. VH1 will air the video the following day, during VH1’s Top Twenty Countdown at 9:00 am ET.
In addition to the official debuts, CMT and CMT.com will air a live special titled CMT PREMIERES TAYLOR SWIFT “MINE” from 8:00-8:30 pm ET. The special will be retelecast on MTV on Saturday, August 28 at 10:00am. VH1 will air the same special on Saturday, August 28 at 4:00pm.
Mine is the first single off of Taylor Swift’s upcoming album Speak Now. The single was rushed to radios shortly after leaking on the internet. In true Taylor Swift fashion, the song debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot Digital Songs chart and number three on the Billboard Hot 100. Taylor Swft joins Mariah Carey as the only female artist in history to debut more than one single in the Top 5 in a calendar year.
