Crescent Tarts
- 1 roll of Crescent rolls
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Preheat oven to 350*.
Line a cookie sheet or jelly roll pan (a cookie sheet with sides) with no-stick foil.
With a mixer, combine cheese, yolk, sugar and vanilla until well combined.
Separate rolls.
Add a tsp. of filling into each roll.
Fold roll over and crimp the sides with your fingers or a fork to keep filling inside while baking. (It will be in the shape of a triangle.)
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until light brown and baked through.
For an added treat, add 2 tsp. of your favorite jam into the mixture while mixing. Or dollop a little on top of the cream cheese mixture before crimping the rolls.
