
Have you ever tasted a chocolate cheesecake and it made your toes curl? If not, this one will do the trick! This chocolate cheesecake is so rich and creamy. The chocolate flavor is extremely abundant. It is a chocolate lovers dream come true.
I served this cake at my Birthday party this year. A friend of mine, who does not even like cheesecake said, this is her new favorite dessert! Does that tell you anything?
Deanna's Double Chocolate Cheesecake
- 2 cups (about 24) chocolate stuffed Oreo cookies, crushed + 4 more for topping
- ¼ cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, melted
- 4 packages of cream cheese
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 ½ cups semi sweet chocolate chips, melted and cooled
- 4 eggs
Preheat oven to 325*.
Line a 9x13 baking dish with no-stick foil.
Mix crumbs with butter.
Press into 9x13 pan.
Bake 10 minutes.
Beat cheese, sugar, flour and vanilla.
Add chocolate. Mix.
Add eggs one at a time. Mix.
Pour mixture over crust.
Sprinkle crumbs over cake mixture.
Bake 45 minutes (until center is set)
Refrigerate at least 4 hours. Overnight is best!
