This is a recipe to prepare to suit your taste. There is no EXACT recipe for it, just suggested ingredients to use.
Cheesy Rice
- 3-4 cups white rice, prepared
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 - 3 tbsp. butter
- Salt and pepper, to taste
To prepared rice that is hot, add cheese and butter. Stir until melted.
Add salt and pepper and stir until combined.
Enjoy as a side dish or for a quick lunch or snack.
To easily prepare rice:
Add uncooked rice to a microwave safe glass casserole dish.
Rinse with warm water 3 times to rinse of starch.
Add water to rice until water rests 1 inch above where the rice lays.
Lay a paper towel to the bottom of the microwave.
Cook rice on high for 20 minutes.
