Brie recipe

brie cheese

This is so savory! The sweet fruit on top really creates such a wonderful mix of flavors. I found my Brie at BJ’s Wholesale club. This recipe makes a great dish for parties. See the slide show below for more pictures of this pretty dish!

Fruit Topped Brie

  • ½ cup dried pineapple, chopped
  • 1 tbsp dried cranberries
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar, pomegranate infused*
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • Salt, a dash
  • ½ tsp dried rosemary, chopped (optional)
  • 1 round Brie cheese, 10 ounce or 19.6 ounce
  • Crackers

Pre heat oven to 400*.
In a non-stick pot, add fruit, sugar, water, vinegar and salt.
Bring to a boil then reduce to medium heat. Stir until thickened.
Remove from heat and add rosemary.
Set aside.

Remove top rind from cheese.
Place into a glass pie plate.
Spoon fruit mixture on top of cheese.
Bake for 12-14 minutes.

I swear. I could just sit down and eat an entire wedge of Brie by myself. One of these days, I'm going to do just that!
