Ted- you kept it real tonight. Thanks.
Can you imagine being given a WHOLE squid and only having 20 minutes to execute it into an impressive dish? If all four people had issues, let's explore that. And what I didn’t understand is the ousted person was the one "they felt had promise"? Wow…talk about cutting someone off at the knees.
Bison round- went better but still a lot of “buffalo-ing” from the critics. The critics liked the food, albeit not perfect. Did complain it was too rare. Did complain there was too much onion. Did mention being “scared.” The best that came from that round was “it was good...I was surprised.”
Dessert! I am nervous as I watch this because Ted Allen is deflated – there are no jokes, only " time left" announcements. Heck, he’s not smiling. Rare- Ted is Positivity on a Plate defined. The chefs were scraping at ANY compliments for this show. Let’s just say their reputations felt shaved a bit, too, as they hope they are more strong than weak.
The chefs are happy the experience is over. Yay. Chef John wins. Gets $10k. Well deserved.

The show CHOPPED judges are awful! Rude and darn right in your face. My husband and i will not watch this show anymore. We so enjoy other food network shows like Diner, DriveInns and dives. Chopped is chopped in our family due to the rude comments of judges. The cooks are chefs also and lets have the judges make the dishes in just 20 mins etc. ????
