Pura Vida means “pure life” and that is exactly what you get at Cherry Creek’s finest new fitness club and their spa establishment, Nectar. Although my typical daily visits to Pura Vida coin me as a gym rat, I occasionally escape to the top floor, into the haven of their Nectar spa; where fresh jellybeans and smiles from Suzie and others at the front desk abound.
But my latest visit was different. I moseyed back to the waiting room, where I discovered an added surprise to my waxing appointment. I was offered a menu as I sat in the enchanted lounge. A leather-bound book offering the best-infused tea menu known to man, or Denver Yogis, stared back at me.
As the spa director, Gretchen Hudgens, explained over our teatime together, the Rishi organic teas are an exclusive offering only to Nectar. These Asian teas steep into four categories: bold, fresh, calm, and pure.
Since I was about to have a waxing, what better choice than a pick-me-up tea that helps to relieve anxiety. And the experts here know exactly what to serve you to compliment your service. I went for the bold. The blueberry rooibos tea calmed my nerves before I even finished my cup. The scent of the tea alone lifted me up. I look forward to my next appointment, a detoxifying body wrap, where I will sip on pure: jasmine pearl before I slip away to heavenly bliss.
You can pick up a jar of Rishi tea at the spa to enjoy in your own sanctuary at home or just visit Nectar for a rejuvenating spa appointment and a complimentary cup of Rishi tea perked to the level of Pura Vida perfection.

Brew, brew, brew!! Gotta try this. It sounds great. And as an Englishperson, well, tea is my think, y'know?
