Chicago weather is tricky. Just when you think you see a glimpse or two of spring, along comes a layer of lake effect snow to remind you that winter is still here like the guest that stayed to long. How about adding a glimpse of sunshine and the tropics to your cocoa next time?
Coco's Hot Chocolate with Banana Rum
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
2 cups milk
1-2 teaspoons sugar
2 tablespoons Banana Rum (if not available try creme de banana)
In a saucepan heat milk , sugar and cocoa until warm and almost boiling. Add rum to mug, and top with cocoa.
* try variations with Cointreau, Chambord, etc for other fruity liqueur flavors.

Another good one, Courtney! Plus, nice pic!
WOW, I may just use this drink when I'm in dire need of Bananas Foster. I LOVE the addition of Cocoa Powder. Thanks Courtney...
