America's youth standing up

Everyday we hear and read about the negative impact the youth of today are having on some neighborhoods throughout our cities, we seldom hear about those who are creating a positive impact.

The future depends on the youth taking their place in today’s world.   Jared Fuller and Christopher Pille decided it was time for the youth of America to stand up for what they believe in, to help put a stop to the lack of responsible governing and start securing the future of America for tomorrow’s youth, with this prime objection they have co-founded “Year of Youth – Project 2012.”   In October, 2009 they set upon forming a network of youth via the internet to participate in what they call “a peaceful revolution” to take back the future of America.   To invoke real change in government policies and real reform on the way things get done.

At present they are working on the issues of localism, individual liberty and fiscal responsibility of government at all levels, and building a local, truly grass-root voluntary membership of like minded youth.   As of December the network has grown to over 1500 members of active youth in just a few months.  Year of Youth uses network sites as Facebook, MySpace and Twitter, as well as attending local meeting, rallies and events to get the word out about their project and efforts.

In their latest venture Year of Youth took steps to use YouTube video to send a viral message to the millions of youth that the future of the country is at stake and today’s generation can and will make a difference.   In February, 2010 they plan on attending the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) to spread their message of a local, free, and responsible society.

As their membership grows so will their efforts and hopefully their work today will have a positive impact on a better America for tomorrow.
